SEND TEACHERS WANTED

Post Title: SEND CLASS TEACHER

Salary:  MPS + 1 SEN depending on qualifications/experience (Outer London)

Full time (QTS required, ECTs Welcome)

We require class teachers for our outstanding special school to start from September (or earlier if available for induction and training). We are looking for teachers in both our primary and secondary provisions. Please highlight in your application form which you are applying for.

Northway is split across multiple sites; Primary sites = Rec & KS1 Mill Hill NW7 3HS and KS2  High Barnet EN5 2BY. Secondary site in Mill Hill NW7 2BU (opening September 2025)

We are looking for teachers that:

· Have SEND experience or want to develop skills and knowledge to support SEND pupils

· Are dedicated to the welfare, safeguarding and progress of every child

· Are committed to providing outstanding learning experiences to develop communication and independence skills.

· Are able to remain calm and supportive under pressure

· Can lead a team of T.A’s to successfully support pupil needs

· Are passionate, creative and have excellent communication skills

TEACHING ASSISTANTS WANTED

Salary: Dependent on experience- Grade C to D Barnet Unified Reward £27,438 to £29,583 FTE

33.5 hours per week - 39 weeks per year (term time only)

We require teaching assistants in our outstanding special school (OFSTED 2024) to work with our amazing special needs pupils in a stimulating and supportive environment. We are looking to appoint caring, resilient and patient teaching assistants to join our fun and lively team.

You will be working with amazing children to help them develop their communication and independence skills – we require teaching assistants from Reception through to KS4.

Northway is split across multiple sites; Primary sites = one in Mill Hill NW7 3HS and one in High Barnet EN5 2BY. Secondary site in Mill Hill NW7 2BU (opening September 2025). Your placement at a specific site will be discussed at interview. 

Experience in education and/or children with special needs is essential.

You will have supportive colleagues, a hands on governing body and the opportunity for fantastic training.
